  The Halls of Valhalla

Lift up the goblet of sour mead and sing the songs of war.

Laugh and drink of battle long past and open the golden door.

Welcome those who come to fight in glory and in pain.

We the fallen of dreams of death we wait and watch the flames.

Burning embers of lives long past and moonlight skies that wane.

We eat our fill and ask for more as sun haired maidens smiles.

We sailed in dragon ships of night and roamed the darkness isles.

Revel now and ask no more from angry gods that hear us not.

We pass the time in tales of war and untie the Gordian knot.

The grand hall fills with the slain and all who feast are one.

Our battles are over our souls are lost our glory is forgotten and done.

We wait till the day when our swords will sing and Odin gives the cry.

Then fields of war will fill with the dead and men will race to die.

And once again we will fight and the heavens will shake in dread.

Then all shall know to flee the path of the rising of the dead.

  Ravens Wing

The sound of ravens wings on the air.

The night of sorrows and angels stare.

A gentle wind of crimson and gray.

I sit and wonder of the vanished day.

Castles of stone rise on the hills.

Ice and snow and the darkness chill.

Echoes of long lost souls in flight.

Shadows of lives walked in the night.

I wander in sleep and hear no song.

I wait for a sunrise that comes with the dawn.

I see ages of days passed in my dark heart.

I seek a dead goddess that walks apart.

Her name is memory and nevermore.

She walks on black sands by the shore.

The gulls cry her name in endless flight.

She sings of lovers passed in darken night.

I’ve seen her face and remember her eyes.

She lives in my mind and speaks dark lies.

She tells me of lands that wander in time.

A golden cup that holds bitter wine.

I wait for the night of lovers embrace.

To look in the eyes of a demons face.

To hear her laugh of sirens songs.

My heart feels no pain or beatings long.

In all the days of livings and lost.

I’ll pay the price and fill the cost.

She waits for me and calls my name.

I run to her and feel no shame.

Black are her eyes and black is her love.

Soft is her voice like the cry of a dove.

A man of shadows I will embrace.

  Her poisoned lips forever taste.

  Mermaids Realm.

In restless emerald seas that roll there is a mermaid’s realm.

Brave sailors fear that land below and keeps hands upon the helm.

There live the maidens of the deep that sing their sirens songs.

A warrior I upon that sea and roamed where my soul did long.

I fought and died thru ages gone and heard the battle cries.

I laugh in pain and worried not to see the bloodstained skies.

Then one day I heard a song that caused my heart to wake.

I stood before the languid sea and watched the ocean break.

The redden sword dropped from my hand and fell upon the sand.

I looked into the seas dark eye and wished no more for land.

There in the murky depths I heard a song that burned my soul.

It spoke of nights of endless sleep where death can take no toil.

Into the brackish depths I walked till nothing more remained.

No thought of war or death, no thought of blood and pain.

The ladies of the crimson sea kissed and healed my heart.

Never more to walk this sun drenched earth, never more to part!

  Heaven’s Gate

Gather the swords of iron and steel and hold the golden shield.

Sing the war songs of the dead and let the death ax wield.

Stand before the darkness gates and laugh as they call our names.

Gather together through all the nights that fill the angles shame.

We lived our lives as warriors do and ask no mercy or peace.

Now we drink to deeds long gone and sit before the beggars feast.

We have no regrets for sins long gone and seek no gods ramose.

We do not ask for quarter or tears but let the ages take their course.

In golden halls of warriors dreams we wait for ending that’s grow near.

Then all the world will shake and cry and the gods will quake in fear.

The end of days is waiting close and we are the one who wait.

Then the darkness will fear our coming at the steps of heaven’s gate.

  Lover’s Dream

Languid dreams of sleep and sin lay heavy upon my soul.

I lay there silent and undone as the midnight moon did roll.

Then in the night I heard a cry like the wailing of a child.

I awoke to find a raven black with red eyes deep and wild.

He sat there not moving on my bed and the wind blew soft and warm.

The black bird stared at me for hours and I felt the demons swarm.

Then the beast cried out once more and I somehow knew its voice.

I stood out of bed and moved to him like a slave without a choice.

As I look at him I ask the question that burned inside my heart.

Why did my only love abandon me to live this life apart?

I waited for the raven to speak but he only sat and stared.

We were like statures in the night all frozen and impaired.

I didn’t know how long I stood and waited for my hearts reply.

I felt my eyes grow heavy and my dark soul begin to die.

Then I heard a calling voice and I turned to see the moon.

It filled my heart with dread and death like a demon in the gloom.

As if in a trance I went outside to listen to the night.

There I heard the faint reframe of a lovers cry in fright.

In the distance I felt a need to walk amounts the singing stars.

There to heal the wounds of need and erase the lovers scars.

As I walked I felt the ebony bird was trailing me like a ghost.

I was the maker of a sacred vow to be the creatures hoist.

In the pail moonlight we walked like two brothers on a quest.

To find the voice that called to me and to pass the darkness test.

The night took my soul and I followed to a place that took my soul.

No land of plenty under my feet, only wastelands filled with woe.

Then the voice called out to me to come and share its home.

A graveyard filled with silent souls that never more would roam.

Among the stones of long dead hopes I saw a familiar name.

My lover’s grave lay open now and filled my heart with shame.

&nb
sp; Why was my life not ended now? Why did I still live on?

When all my days are nothing and all my hopes are gone.

I stood there looking down and heard the voice speak once more.

I turned to see my long lost love and she burned me to my core.

She looked at me and I could see that the years had not dimmed her eyes.

  .

They burned like red coals in the night or dark moons in the skies.

She spoke to me only one word that beat in my heart like a drum.

It rang in my ears and filled my soul and that one word was, “come”.

I walked to her and she held me tight and we kissed deep and long.

I felt my soul rise like a mist and I heard my lover’s song.

Never more will we be parted now and never more shall we cry.

For all the world will be our home till all the nights will die.

The pale moon sailed thru the night and the dark bird went its way.

I was at peace in my darkened dreams and in the grave I lay.

The cold earth holds me in her arms and the worms feed on my heart.

But I am content to know that she and I will never part.

No more will I feel the warmth of suns, nor angels will I miss.

I lay in the embrace of my lovers arms and feel the vampires kiss.

  Demons Jest

Engorges of time we sit and rest.

  Trenchant discourse of demons jests.

Dark ending moons send forth their light.

  Melancholy hours of vampires bit.

Hells breathe of sage’s dark gloom and sin.

Bring forth the avenger of nightingale’s grins.

Days fearing wane in paradise days.

All ended now in a midnight haze.

Lift now the veil of demons embrace.

Call forth the dark wings of Satan’s race.

Hot winds blow from hells heart deep.

Dark demons sing as sweet angles weep.

I travel the roads of haunted dreams.

I hear the cries of maidens screams.

Crimsons tears fall from darken sky.

I sit and watch but ask not why.

Gods and demons laugh in turn.

Dark sleep fills my soul and death I yearn.

  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Atlantis

Deep beneath the oceans realm among the mountains of the moon.

Forgotten lands lay silent and dark lithe only by the ages gloom.

Once there stood a mighty race now only laid the Krakens home.

Silent and still the city does sleep and only its darkness roam.

Gone are the victories of its fame and none remembering its might.

It only lives in dreams and song and in the darkness night.

How I long to see golden towers rise to the skies once more.

To ride the ships with paled sails and see the sky birds soar.

To walk among the streets again and hear the maidens song.

To glide among the oceans depths and strike the sunrise gong.

The ages pass and the ocean rolls on and I sit and look to sea.

I wish for a time and a place to return but that dream can never be.

I yearn for that age when the gods where young and all the world was free.

Will the oceans give up their prize and will my broken heart still yearn?

Or will I sit and watch the stars and wait proud Atlantis return?

  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Bitter Sweet.

Bitter sweet the taste of love, for its juice’s burn with fire.

The fragrant fruit of forgotten dreams from branches of desire.

We yearn for comfort in the dark and seek its lasting charm.

Then morning’s light will break the spell and sunrise comes to harm.

But when the stars beckon in the night and dark moons fill the sky.

I will kiss the lips of a demon’s lust and laugh as memories die.

All through the ages of mankind’s dream I seek a wanders dream.

To live a lifetime filled with gold and glory and not a sorcerer’s scheme.

Can such a dream be made real to me or is it just a phantoms call?

Will I wander in the coldness night and dance at the devil’s ball?

The tree of life is beyond my reach; its branches rise far too high.

So now I will rest beneath its roots and whisper a vampire’s lie.

  ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  A Warriors Dream

A warrior was I that battled in dreams.

I walked in darkness on moonlight beams.

My sword was crimson from fallen foes.

I felt the cold nights and maidens woes.

I knew no love but the din of war.

I lay in the arms of Babylon’s whores.

As ages passed like armies of night.

I laughed at death and curse the light.

No markers for us that fall by the sword.

I march to drums of the forgotten hoard.

Our days are passed, our wars are done.

We burn in the caverns of the long dead suns.

We asked no quarter form victories lost.

Our wages were glory our lives the cost.

We still sing the songs of ages past.

The ending is done the die is cast.

But in days yet waiting our souls will rise.

To take up the sword for smoke filled skies.

We wait in the crimson halls in hell.

We sit listen for the warrior’s bell.

Our mead is sour our feast is dust.

No ivory arms to slack our lust.

Long nights of melancholy plans and dreams.

We kiss the cold lips of vampires screams.

We wait for the call that all men crave.

To battle in madness till dark of the grave.

Then once again we await the call.

We sit and dream in Odin’s hall.

  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Time and Space.

In all the worlds of time and space I find no light from darkness hand.

I wander in quiet and see no place where shadows fear to walk the land.

No sun in daylight guides my way, no warmth of living fills my heart.

I seek no companions to travel my path; I have no loves that need to part.

My way is fixed in blood and death, my road is twisted in distant stars.

  --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

  Endless

I have walked the lands of Calasstree and climbed the mountains of Mer.

I have traveled with demons in the dark as my body shook with fear.

I have kissed the lips of the Gornrangast beneath the blood red moon.

I have danced beside the Vanderveir as they sang a mournful tune.

I have listened to the wailing cries of the forgotten race of Morg.

I have battled with the men of Krel as they died with spear and sword.

I have lived the lives of many men and never asked for peace.

For my wanderings are endless now and never will they cease.
